DIY Pompom Tie-up Sandals

Here it is! Last month I was browsing through the internet when a colourful pair of sandals caught my attention. They were the worldwide trending pompom tie-up sandals. In a moment I decided to possess one of those. These tie-ups come in endless combinations of colours and baubles. I looked out for suppliers online. There were a couple of suppliers that offered almost similar ones but they being located outside India, the price went beyond my budget. The ones falling within my fixed budget didn’t appeal to me. When it comes to my wardrobe, I’m totally sorted, clear about exactly what I want. Also, I believe that we should fulfill our desires, but be rational with our resources. I won’t give any excuses though!   But yes, I promise to keep writing and sharing my thoughts and experiences. Recently I had a shoot with Femina for their festive special issue. Kinjal, features editor at Femina beautifully brought together fashion bloggers and stylists from Ahmedabad with their choice of outfit for Diwali. Here’s a quick look-back to the excitement behind-the-scenes! The Outfit I had chosen a long Anarkali from SPAN clothing. Long Anarkalis quite appeal to me because they look like an Indian version of evening gown. As much as I prefer black as my wardrobe colour, I pay equal attention to colours. For a festival like Diwali, a colourful outfit was must. So this was it! My favourite black and festive colours playfully together! As mentioned in my earlier posts, I prefer minimal accessories.
