The Weather Game

The weather these days has been behaving like the stock market. You would never have the slightest idea that a day which began with a chill would witness a splatter of rain followed by a hot and humid evening. I’ve been eagerly waiting to step out into a cool winter day but the sun has been behaving like a strict guard, hovering over all the time!

During my childhood and teenage years I hated winters because I had to wake up trembling at 6 am! But of course, these days when waking up so early is not a compulsion, I like stepping out in to the early morning chill for a while to see the orange rays of the sun add colour to the dull grey winter sky. It’s quite normal to hate rules while embracing the same thing when taken up voluntarily, isn’t it? So now I quite adore this season for its pleasant climate, colorful cardigans and of course, gaajar-ka-halwa!

For a month I had been longing to wear my denim jacket and finally there came a pleasant (not cold) day when my winter wardrobe finally found its way.  There’s something quite cool about denim jackets. I find them to be one of the most stylish components of a winter wardrobe. They are quite versatile and apart from denim trousers and Tees, can be easily coordinated with your summer dresses too! The casual, rugged and rock-star appeal of denim jackets is definitely unmatchable.

Coming back to the weather, we’re almost halfway through the month of November and the weather game is still quite unpredictable. I definitely won’t elaborate on Global Warming for this blog would then end-up as a thesis.

Well all we can do is, wait for the chilling season!
