Love You Zindagi

Once in a while, it's good to break free from routines and escape..

Hello Beautiful Souls!

It's been a hopeful start with the vaccine rolling in. 2020 was one long year! The lockdown was immense...and when I say immense....it pertains to the crises and the lessons as much as the opportunities that came along. For me, it had been a year of learning, adjusting and leading towards the necessity of survival. The pandemic reminded me of Darwin's theory of evolution, where Survival of the Fittest has always been a universal process. Breaking into my own records, I have been accelerating my chase of excellence.

To me, growth reflects as work-skill betterment and thought processes with higher productivity. Over and above that, spiritual ascension also has been acing on my priority list. It's been four years in my journey of Reiki self healing, and the last few months got me to higher energies, shedding off pandemic fears and seeing things through the lens of positivity and faith.

Perfection is a Myth

Does my post sound too positive? Here's a downside of my excellence chase. The workaholic in me resurfaced. With my brain getting over absorbed in work, it had been Mondays and Sundays alike (even after the unlock). Well, I almost had to take appointments from myself for stuff like- a phonecall to friends, a visit to the mall or a few extra hours of sleep.

Breaking Free

There's always a chance to improve, isn't it? So I finally put my work aside, postponed/cancelled assignments and took an escape from the restrained scenario in Gujarat to one of the most sought-after holiday spots in the country.

Goa has been my muse ever since my first visit. To begin with, I'm a teetotaler, to which many people respond as, "you don't drink Breezer or Beer also?". No, I don't. Yet, the hard-drink hub of the country attracts me for its beautiful sunsets, gorgeous beaches, enthralling sea and it's green-cover roads.

The Parra Road is one place I'd been wanting to visit since a while. Located in North Goa, the road shot up to fame with its picturesque frames beautifully shown in the movie Dear Zindagi. So you can also Google the place as the Dear Zindagi road. Keeping the Bollywood connection aside, I'd actually been looking forward to the coconut tree-lined road, with wild green lawns on either side. A kind of nature-connec that seems inviting to me!

Little Things Matter....

Over the years, I've learnt to appreciate every little gift of life, even the short trip to Parra, where clicking pictures was a mild stunt, posing and capturing right in the few-second windows that one gets between passing cars. It was fun! Above all, it gave a lovely end to my testing year of 2020 :)
