Colour Block
Weekend cheers!! After a super rushed week, this weekend
could be the best gift! Every goal comes with a package of time and efforts and
so long as you’re keen on reaching your goal, you’re game for it!
In my previous post I talked about introspection. Well if not
every day, introspection is a must at regular intervals. Ideally each day you
must try to be a better version of yourself. But if one day seems like a very
short duration, then take stock of your growth at least on a weekly basis. You
must always compete with your own self and no one else. When you compete with
others, you make them your benchmark and grow up to their scale while your
potential could be higher. So it’s always better to avoid comparison.
Style blogging is quite an experimental task. Different
colours, patterns and wardrobe elements can be put together in endless
combinations. Black since long has been my favorite wardrobe colour. It’s the
most versatile shade that can be stylishly coordinated with every hue. So I
quite enjoy working out different looks with black. This time it’s an orange
colour block. An orange and black shaded
cape can be put together in multiple ways. I tried a monochromatic look with
orange colour pops. Black trousers, black heels and a black crop top give a ‘Catwoman’
look. The orange and black cape, which is an ethnic casual outfit added to the
ensemble gives a fusion look. To highlight the orange colour block on the
fabric, I added a bright orange necklace. To complete the look, I gave a touch
or red lip colour.
Talking about hairstyles, this look could be completed with a
high ponytail, but I chose a half-knot to keep the look trendy and updated.
Alternatively, this orange and black cape can be used to create a completely ethnic look. You can pair it with a black lehenga or palazzo, orange juttis and golden danglers. If you’re leaving your hair loose, you can add headchains to complete the ethnic look.

Styling is a creative activity and creativity is endless. The
baseline is that you should feel good about what you’re wearing. So go ahead, experiment and look your best!
Happy Styling!!
