Stepping Ahead With Polka-Play


‘I have to rock!’ is my daily morning mantra. Today, as I complete another year of my amazing life, gratitude seeps deeper into my soul and my mind steps up into an all new level of strength. Well that’s what we are born for- to be the best version of ourselves!


In a world where goals turn into a race, I believe in moving at my own sweet pace. We all live our own story of goals, dreams and wishes. Ideally, our story should be independent of what goes on elsewhere. Living other people’s story can only make one’s life more complicated and the beauty of life lies in its simplicity. As you focus on your own story, you start chasing excellence and that- is where real success comes in. Focus makes you stronger, wiser and eventually happier.


Pink and Polka

These days, polka dots have been getting more space in my closet. And of course, I might never get over pink! Pink, black and white make a playful combination. When it comes to styling, I prefer comfort over fashion. That’s why I usually step out in flat sandals. These cute pink sandals from Tic Tac Toe footwear were just the right match! This brand has an amazing collection of casual-wear and party-wear sandals. For accessorizing, I added a black statement necklace and white framed statement shades. When a contrasting color like pink is paired with black and white hues, adding more colors can make the ensemble look chaotic. Hence the accessories and the footwear had been matched with the outfit. I even did a polka nail art on my toe nails to match them with the skirt!




So this was my casual and playful look, for my pre-birthday celebration. It reflects my take-it-easy inner self that believes to hold on to faith, for that is where magic begins to happen!

 So, Rejected? And... Feeling dejected? I  don't like these words but this rhyme fits well. Welcome to the world of non-acceptance! Rejections, no matter how insignificant, are usually painful. When I brought up this topic with my Instafam through individual discussions, there was one common thing for most: Rejection= Mind Chaos Hey wait, did you just remember one of your rejection moments?
